make it pink, make it blue

make it pink, make it blue

I'm finally caught up, well back to posting one day behind what I am actually wearing! Rain was called for all day yesterday, so I wore my rain boots. Too bad it didn't start raining until about 9:30 at night! I love wearing rain boots because a) I hate wet feet, b) they are kinda cute, c) they make me feel like a little kid! The only problem with them, they aren't especially comfortable. They aren't horribly un-comfortable, I just don't like wearing them for more than one day. So today it is actually raining, and my rain boots are at home.

I wore this outfit to work and as part of that to the Bike to Work Day planning meeting. I am actually the chair of the Reston pit stop! How cool is that!? I've added links if you want some information, I'm trying to stay style focused here - but it seems that my other interests keep peeking though!

Usually I dress up when I head into the city, but with I just wanted to keep it casual today. In my attempt to accessorize differently, I strung my old high school class ring on a necklace and work it around my neck. I thought that it gave this combo - with the bow - a school girl kind of look, but in a good way! Do you think of themes when you get dressed?
