potato, patato

caral 021

Apparently I can't say the colour 'coral' correctly. I think I am saying it right, but to everyone else it sounds like I am saying 'carl'. " say potato, I say patato... you say coral, I say caral..." It provided quite a bit of entertainment for the chums (roomie and Jenny) while we drove into the city to catch the metro to the Expo for the National Marathon and Half Marathon.

I'm only half crazy (for now) and ran the half marathon on Saturday with Jenny, her husband, and another friend. Speaking of friendship, my roomie came and worked a water stop (on her birthday!) just to cheer us on!

Back to my coral shirt, it's another LC by Lauren Conrad top. I'm pretty sure that I like her clothes, but sometimes I wonder if I buy them just because I like her... I mean, I loved Laguna Beach and The Hills - I kinda just wanted to be real friends with Lauren. So I keep trying her stuff and hoping to like it. Most of it's a miss, but when it's right - like my green military jacket and tuxedo blazer - it becomes a favorite! So are my new LC tops a hit or a miss? (Oh! and if you order LC by Lauren Conrad at, you get to download part of her style book for free!)
