Happy Everybody EverWear! I love polka dots! Its actually the reason that I bought this top two sizes too big at Unique (it's masterfully pinned in the back and covered by the sweater)! I had three different polka dot outfits planned for today too, just in case I needed options. I was about to name this post like a librarian, but decided to promote some blue instead.
I try to keep this blog very focused on fashion and style. But when I got the email about light it up blue from Autism Speaks today, on a day I am wearing blue shoes, it reminded me that it is always in style to promote great causes. I used to work hands on, both privately and in a public school system, with autistic kids. It was a wonderful experience, and I am still close with the families of the kids that I worked with. I am going to use my style blog to help raise autism awareness over the next month leading up to World Autism Awareness Day on April 2nd. Don't worry, I'm still going to stay fashion focused, I've just added a button to the blog and will be trying to incorporate something blue into my outfit from now through April 2nd. Grab a button and join me, will you?
