I am kinda a moron, and when Clara and I took the Eurostar I asked her to remind me to grab my tripod from over our seats. She did, and I thanked her and grabbed it. Then when I went to get my suitcase from by the door I set my tripod down and left it on the luggage rack. What's worse, we had a little hiccup checking into our hotel, and that was when I realized that I didn't have it.
So Tuesday morning Clara had lunch plans with her family and I set off to the Eurostar lost items office. When I got there, I don't think they really understood what I meant by "tripod" because he said "I didn't find your ipod" and then told me he would call if he found my "camera." Since it was only 11, I set off to meet Clara, her aunt, and her cousin for lunch.
I took it as a sign when I got off the tube at Bank station, right across the street was a camera store! I took that as a sign that I needed to buy a third tripod. It turned out to be a good price and a good investment because we got some great group pictures (and not to mention the rest of my outfit shots)!
