Here's another braid tutorial that I shot with Alexis of f22 Video Solutions and her beautiful daughter, Kayla! This is one of my favorite hairstyles for running and being active, the French Braided Headband.
For years I would try to gather hair from both sides of the braid to create this look, then one day I realized that by just adding hair from the front, the braid would look more like a headband. This technique would work with either a forward (what I did here) or a backwards braid. You can see how to do both on my previous video.
