a little wedding fun

coberolyn wedding 4

Cobey and Carolyn got married at one of the most beautiful vineyards that I have ever been to! The whole wedding weekend was absolutely fantastic. Reid had a lot of groomsman duties, so I got to spend quite a bit of time with Amanda and Jenny! It was nice that they were there, because it let us had our memorial day weekend tradition in a new way - a Staycation, Vacation!

It was a really beautiful wedding weekend and weekend away in Charlottesville!

I got this yellow dress for a wedding that Reid and I went to last year and thought it would be a great re-wear, since only the bride and groom from that wedding and Cobey and Carolyn had seen it before. (Yes, that is something all girls think about when getting dressed up for a wedding!) It's nice a summery, and very easy to wear! Last year I paired it with a mod style large bun and black accessories, this year I went with a soft curl updo and nude pumps. I also remember seeing it style in the store with a belt! It's nice when simple pieces are so versatile!

Above you can see a photo of the sparkler exit that Cobey and Carolyn did! My intention was to try to get a good photo of them running through, but with all the excitement of the wedding and everything, I figured that just a few cool sparkler pictures would be good enough!

Below you can see some of our traditional "silly pictures". Jenny, Amanda, and I had so much fun taking these jumping pictures during the cocktail hour, while the wedding party took their photos.

  1. Just came back from a fundraising event I shot here. This place is really incredible. I look forward to booking a wedding job here one of these days.
