Last year, Reid and I had an amazing time at Sandbridge beach (here's the post about it) with his family and his brother's wife's family (and I even did an outfit post). This year we're heading north(ish) to Rehoboth for a five day beach trip with his family. It was sort of a last minute decision, but I am so glad that we are getting a little beach vacation this year. The only thing that makes me a little sad is that Penny can't come with us. I know she'd love playing at the beach. But I think she'll also have the time of her life while I'm gone, since Lauren is going to puppy-sit!
We leave midday today, and I'm no where near ready to go! I procrastinated on packing, and instead focused on getting my house super clean for Lauren. (I'm a bit of a house chore procrastinator too! So the home deep cleaning was needed!)

Reid and I have been keeping a vacation "to do" list on it, we have:
- make frozen drinks
- build a sandcastle
- paddle board
- go for two runs (I added this one)
- take a bike ride
- make dinner
- make fresh salsa
- take some portraits
- relax
- work on planning some projects
- plan my Beautycounter launch social
- read on the beach (I'll be reading Toxin Toxout: Getting Harmful Chemicals Out of Our Bodies and Our World
)
I know I have some "worky" items on my to do list, but they are projects that I have been trying to find time for, but with my busy schedule, have slipped through the cracks. It's always exciting and scary when I start to work on my side projects and businesses, but I know that in order to build the future that I want, I need to not let my fear hold me back! If you've got any tips for how to charge through with enacting change in your life, let me know! :)
Meanwhile, you can find me on the beach!
