(15) be my valentine

When you're a single girl, Valentine's day can have different meanings. I decided to follow DC's advice and make it about getting to eat candy with no judgment. Oh, and also about friendship and letting my friends know how much they mean to me.

I started to get dressed yesterday in a very boring outfit, but I realized that didn't really go with my motto of "taking Valentine's day back!" That is how I came up with this outfit! I wanted to wear pink or red, then I remembered how great my hotpink scarf looked with my black and cream striped top the last time I wore them together! The rest of the the outfit came together as I realized that I haven't been doing such a great job remixing the one dress that I included.

It was actually the perfect thing to wear, as we had beautiful weather, although a bit windy! The wind literally blew me over when I tried to take my pictures outside yesterday.

When and Where:
  • Monday, February 14th, 2011 - Valentine's Day
  • to work, out to lunch and out to dinner(calories don't count on Valentine's day, or so I'm told)
What I'm Wearing:
  • scarf - Target
  • sweater, top - Gap
  • dress - swapped with DC
  • tights - via Loehmann's
  • boots - Jessica Simpson via Loehmann's
