On my last day in Brussels, Erin and Clara were nice enough to indulge my need for just a little more shopping and some more waffles. I was pretty sure before leaving that I would get to eat waffles and fries at every meal, but apparently my grasp on foreign culture is slightly warped by stereotypes. I did get to have fries at almost every meal, and those without fries had potato chips. But up until Monday, I had only had one waffle. Granted, it was the best waffle of my life, but I still wanted more.
So we set out to the only 2 stores in our price range, H&M and Zara, we stopped at a little waffle shop and I got to have the second best waffle of my life. It's like they start to cook them, then coat them in sugar, then close the waffle iron so that the sugar caramelizes. It's AMAZING!
I guess I have more to say about the waffles than I do my outfit. I mean, it's jeans and a tee. Perfect for walking through Brussels, having in impromptu photoshoot with your friends, and taking the Eurostar to London.
