We woke up early on Thursday morning and headed to St Pancras International train station to take the Eurostar to Brussels, where Erin lives. We made the mistake that morning of getting coffee before going through the international gate. They only have liquid restrictions on trains for hot beverages going through customs. Is that weird, or what?
Weather wise, we were super lucky. I was perfectly fine in my light cardigan, scarf, jeans, boots, and my light weight trench. We were all able to take a nap on the train, so when we got to Brussels we went to the grocery store, then shopping alone Avenue Louise. We ended the night with the most amazing burgers at Les Super Fille du Tram (yes, super girls of the train)!
