Blackberry Bramble

Erin posted that she made these for her and her husband Jeff on Facebook in early August and they sounded so yummy that I made Reid make them for us!

We used creme de cassis instead of creme de muir, Hendrick's gin, and then topped ours off with some club soda for a refreshing twist!

Blackberry Bramble (from Chow)

  • 3/4 ounce freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 6 large blackberries
  • Crushed ice
  • 1 ounce crème de mûre
  • 1 1/2 ounces dry gin, such as Plymouth

  • Combine the lemon juice and blackberries in a rocks glass and muddle until the berries are broken up.
  • Add some crushed ice and the crème de mûre and gin, stir to combine, and serve.
