in the starting corrals

Amanda and I did it! We ran the Marine Corps Marathon on Sunday in a smiling successful time of 5:10:16!
Now, my goal was to finish smiling, and that is exactly what I did. My second goal was to aim to be right around 5 hours... and we were close. My third goal was to help Manda get a PR in the 1/2 - which we also accomplished! 2:23:07, a PR by 7 minutes!
All in all, it was a great race! Frankenstorm Sandy held off, my parents came to cheer and most importantly - Reid and Adam (Amanda's husband) came to cheer for us!!!
I can't wait to train for another marathon! (or race!)
