Hello Hollandaise

Back in December, Reid and I went to Fogo De Chao for our friend Cobey's birthday. Before dinner, everyone was talking about how delicious the cheesy bread was, and I have to say I was a little bummed that I was going to miss out... until I saw it! I realized that it was the very bread that my sister had tried to make the previous Christmas, gluten free and made with tapioca flour! (Now, my sister made the mistake of trying to make it with just tapioca...)

Needless to say, I found this recipe online, went on amazon and ordered all the ingredients and NEEDED to make it at home!

That's how this dinner came to be. I texted Reid on Sunday night and asked what we could have with cheesy popovers for dinner. We had just made an amazing Sunday brunch of homemade eggs benedict (mine with crab) and potatoes over the weekend, so I think we both still had crab and hollandaise sauce on the brain.

So dinner was Steak Oscar! It was pretty cool because it was the first time that I had tried to grill steak and it came out perfectly!

Oh, and here is our amazing version of Eggs Chesapeake, Gluten Free - Eggs Reston, from over the weekend:
