I'm really can't tell you how lucky I feel to have a guy that cooks for me! Reid out did himself with dinner again!
This is the Hareiller Roast Chicken from The 4-Hour Chef
, Tim Ferris's book on metalearning. I haven't read the book, but I did watch the creative live that Tim did right when the book came out; typical = didn't read the book, watched the movie. Anyway, Reid loves Tim's books and got it from amazon the day it came out and has been dying to make me something from it ever since. His brothers even bought him the cast iron pan recommended in the book for Christmas!
Anyway, Reid slaved over a hot oven all day on Monday to make me this chicken! It was DELICIOUS!!! Apparently, part of the recipe calls for stuffing butter (kerrygold is our fave!) under the skin. Plus, there were 2 lemons stuffed inside. You'll have to get the book
for the recipe, but this is a little photo essay of our amazing dinner! :)
