business shorts

coral stripes 6

My company changed our dress code policy to include an inseam length for shorts of 5 inches. I know, I know, we are super lucky to be able to wear shorts at all, but I'm double super lucky that my favorite J Crew chino shorts come in 5 inch version! I went up a size, because I like a little more room for my runner thighs, but I love these shorts! In fact, I am wearing this same top with a yellow version of these today!

Thank you for all the kind messages about my big announcement yesterday. I am so happy to be part of a company with a social mission of responsibility! I can't wait to share the information that I have learned to help everyone make healthy, safe choices. (and I am currently booking socials, fun events where I can share the information and mission, so feel free to contact me!)

Can I just tell you how happy I am that it's Friday!? Even better, it means that I leave for the beach in exactly a week! Reid's family has done a beach trip every summer for the last few years, but nothing was planned for this summer. Reid's mom kind of surprised us and threw together a beach week for us to celebrate the boys birthdays (all three of them are summer babies!). Penny will stay with my parents, which she loves (even if they don't really love having to take care of her), but I am a little sad to be spending 5 days away from my pup. I have loved that she's been able to come down to c'ville with us so much this summer!

I have been looking at photos from last years beach trip and it makes me even more excited! I can't wait for frozen drinks, sand castles, and lots of time on the beach!!
